
The Reality of Outdoor Heating
We built our outdoor infrared heaters to be waterproof—IP66 waterproof, to be exact—for one simple reason: they have to survive the weather and just keep throwing off steady heat. When you’re sizing up a heater for a damp bathroom or a fully exposed outdoor spot, you don’t want promises. You want something that will show up and do the job, day after day. So we put every unit through brutal, controlled湿热 aging tests. We recreate the worst conditions we can think of, on purpose, so your installation doesn’t fall apart when it’s actually in the field.
Power, Voltage, and Size—Without the Headache
Our infrared heating lamps pack a lot of heat into a small footprint. We match the wattage and voltage to the tube length so the filament runs at the right temperature—without burning out early. With a 400V setup, for example, we can push serious power through a 300mm tube while keeping the current draw manageable. That means you get a heater that warms a space fast. But here’s the catch: that kind of heat also means the fixture around it has to be able to handle the heat, too. If you wire it up without enough clearance or cooling, the surrounding temperature will climb. Plan for heat the same way you plan your wiring. Give it room to breathe.
The Materials That Matter—And the Connector That Makes Sense
Inside, we use a shortwave infrared source sealed inside a quartz envelope. Quartz handles rapid heating and cooling without cracking, and it transmits infrared heat efficiently. The coating isn’t just for looks. It’s there to keep moisture out and resist chemical attack—especially in humid, chlorinated environments like pool areas and bathrooms. Then there’s the connector: R7s. It’s a straightforward, industrial-grade connection that locks in quickly and stays solid even when things vibrate. And it drops right into standard sockets, so installs stay quick and maintenance stays simple.
Why We Age-Test—Because Wet Spots Don’t Forgive
Bathrooms and outdoor spaces are brutal on electrical parts. Condensation and humidity will find any weakness. That’s why we run our湿热 aging test: we run the heater continuously in saturated air, cycling temperature and moisture over and over. It forces corrosion, stresses the seals, and exposes weak points long before the product ever leaves our shop. The payoff is an IP66-rated unit that keeps output stable and keeps internal connections dry. For you, that translates into fewer service calls, performance you can count on, and the freedom to spec a heater into tight, wet locations without having to over-engineer the whole setup. Outdoor and bathroom heating isn’t optional. It has to work the first time—and still work next season.
The Trade-Off, Straight Up
High-density infrared heat warms up fast. No question. But it also concentrates a lot of energy in a small area. So make sure your mounting hardware, wiring, and ventilation are all matched to the wattage. When they are, the IP66 protection and the aged internals will keep holding strong, even when the conditions get ugly.
