The Inside Story
At the heart of it is a shortwave halogen element, tucked inside a quartz tube. The halogen does its thing, keeping the filament steady even when things get scorching hot—so the output stays consistent over the life of the lamp. The quartz envelope can handle sudden temperature shifts without cracking, and it lets infrared energy pass through cleanly. We also added a specialized coating to shape the emission and keep the tube safe from whatever’s floating around in the environment. And the R7s connector? It’s a no-fuss, proven industrial fit. It holds tight and makes replacement a straight drop-in—no wrestling required.
